Last weekend, I had the opportunity to view the movie “The Artist.”  Intrigued by the buzz it received at this year’s Golden Globes, I also wanted to see how a silent film is made today in the 21st century. Recently I’ve noticed a lengthy quote getting passed around Facebook. It’s from Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.), a former Army lieutenant colonel. In an excerpt from an email to a reporter, West scathingly chastises anyone critical of the Marines who allegedly urinated on the corpses of Taliban soldiers.

Pop Singer Jason Derulo has sustained a serious neck injury while practicing stunts for his upcoming tour in Florida. The singer was performing acrobatic moves when he landed on his head and suffered a fractured vertebrate. The fracture is known as a Hang Man’s Break, and majority of the people who suffer the injury are paralyzed or do not survive.
